1.About these terms

These terms describe how rentals from Mashal Chiller Transport, Al Goze Building, Al Quoz 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, work. By booking a vehicle with us you agree to these terms together with the quotation agreed for your rental — and where the two differ, the quotation for your specific rental applies.

2.Our service

We rent refrigerated vehicles — chiller and freezer vans, chiller and freezer trucks, and high roof vans in chiller or freezer builds — for use within the United Arab Emirates only. Vehicles are dispatched from Al Quoz 1, Dubai and may be used across all seven emirates. Cross-border use is not permitted.

3.Quotes and bookings

Bookings are made over WhatsApp, by phone or by email. The rates published on this website are indicative ranges; the exact figure for your rental depends on the requirement and is confirmed on the quotation before anything is booked. Everything that applies to your rental — the rate, the term, and any items not listed as included in section 5 — is agreed on that quotation. Nothing is charged that was not agreed there.

4.Rental terms

Vehicles are available on daily, weekly and monthly terms. Monthly rentals renew month to month for as long as agreed. Extensions are arranged through dispatch during the rental, subject to availability.

5.What every rental includes

• Delivery of the vehicle to your location, free of charge, in any of the seven emirates
• Pre-cooling to the agreed set point before handover
• Routine maintenance of the vehicle for the duration of the rental
• Vehicle and cargo insurance
• GPS tracking and temperature logging on the vehicle
• Access to our 24/7 dispatch desk

6.With driver or self-drive

Rentals are available with one of our drivers or as self-drive — you choose when you book. For self-drive rentals, the driver must hold a valid UAE driving licence appropriate for the vehicle. We may ask for standard documents before handover: Emirates ID or passport for individuals, and a trade licence for company rentals.

7.Using the vehicle

• The vehicle may only be used lawfully, and only for the kind of cargo agreed at booking.
• Tell dispatch what the cargo is, so the vehicle arrives set to the right temperature. The set point is fixed at handover.
• Cargo should be loaded already chilled or frozen — a transport reefer is built to hold a temperature, not to bring warm product down to it.
• Load within the vehicle's stated payload, secure the cargo for the road, and treat the vehicle with reasonable care.
• The vehicle stays within the UAE at all times.

8.The cold chain

Every trip runs with GPS tracking and a temperature log. The reefer holds its set range door to door, including during normal door openings on multi-stop routes. The trip's temperature record is available through dispatch on request. Responsibility for the condition of cargo loaded warm, packed unsuitably, or held with doors open for extended periods rests with the customer.

9.Breakdowns and support

Routine maintenance is on us, and dispatch is reachable 24/7 throughout your rental. If a vehicle develops a fault during the rental, contact dispatch immediately and we will resolve it — the fleet stays our responsibility.

10.Changes and cancellations

Plans change — tell dispatch as early as you can. Any terms that apply to changing or cancelling a confirmed booking are agreed on the quotation at the time of booking.

11.Liability

Vehicle and cargo insurance is in place on every rental. We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or arising from use of the vehicle contrary to these terms or the agreed quotation. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.

12.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
